Alan Brenghause grew up in Chicagoland and always had an imagination. Storytelling has always been a hobby that grew into a passion on multiple fronts. This adoption story has a close tie to his heart being that he is the father of 5 adopted children.

Growing up without pets, Alan knew maturing in life without animals would not be the case for his children. They are the inspiration to the chaos that is Kit N Kaboodle, and this book debut is a gift to them and families everywhere.
