Aziwo Tatanja Niba was born in Yaoundé, Cameroon, and educated at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, Nigeria, and University of Plymouth, England, U.K. He holds a Ph.D. from the School of Biological and Marine Sciences, University of Plymouth, where he studied through a Commonwealth Fellowship. He is a Professor of Animal Science at the Department of Animal Production Technology, College of Technology, The University of Bamenda. He is a father of two and lives in Cameroon with his family.
