Having retired I now spend some of my free time ‘befriending' at a nearby residential home for ‎adults with learning disabilities. I also spend quality time with family and friends and indulge in my ‎love of art and antiques. Before Covid, I volunteered at my local museum. While looking at old ‎photographs, I came across one of my Great-Uncle Gilbert and thought to myself, "What a great ‎name for a character in a book," and with time the tale within this book took shape‎
