Goodnight, Mum

Jonathan Mair

In GOODNIGHT, MUM Jonathan Mair crafts a touching and moving collection of poems that ‎invites readers on a profound journey of self-discovery, healing, and introspection in the wake of ‎loss. Through meaningful and passionate poetry, Mair captures both the raw, vulnerable ‎conversations he continues to hold with his late mother and the tender, intimate dialogue he ‎shares with his inner child.‎
Through heartfelt verses, this collection moves beyond remembrance, exploring the universal ‎process of grappling with grief. Mair's words speak to anyone who has felt the loneliness that ‎follows losing someone they love, offering not a manual for healing but a companion on the ‎journey - a reminder that, though grief can feel isolating, we are not alone in it.‎
More than a tribute, GOODNIGHT, MUM is a testament to the transformative power of love and ‎loss. It captures the essence of reconciling with the past, letting go of what no longer serves us, ‎and discovering courage amidst heartache. Composed with honesty, vulnerability, and a ‎musician's lyricism, this debut collection is a powerful reflection on growth, resilience, and the ‎unbreakable bond between a boy and his mother.‎
