Michael Hrycyszyn
Michael Roman Hrycyszyn was born in Exeter of Ukrainian parents who came to Britain as refugees after the Second World War.He graduated in Russian Studies from the School of Slavonic and East European Studies, University College, London.In 1981-82, he was sponsored by the Soviet Government to live and study in Kiev, Ukraine, where he had the opportunity to meet a few remaining relatives.Writing the biography of his Father has been the fulfilment of a lifetime’s ambition and is a testament to his Father’s courage, humanity and spirit.The book is also a tribute to his Mother, Anna, and is dedicated to her.
