Maxim Pathirana

Maxim Pathirana, born in 2009, discovered his passion for writing at ‎an early age. By the time he was 10, he had launched his blog, Maxim ‎Pathirana's Blog, where he shared an array of short stories and ‎poems. When the COVID-19 lockdowns confined children to their ‎homes, Maxim channeled his creativity into writing a novel. Inspired ‎by his love for the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings series, he ‎penned The One They Have to Fear, completing it while still in ‎primary school. Born in London, Maxim is now a secondary school ‎student, where his teachers have encouraged him to continue his ‎literary journey. He has already begun working on the second ‎installment of the series, which is currently in progress. ‎
