Julie Howard

Born in Sheffield, England, Julie grew up in a working-class family that prized education. She trained as a teacher and taught in the economically deprived schools of Northern England. She emigrated to Australia, where she developed teaching and learning materials for NSW Department of Education before becoming Head of Education at the Australian Museum.

As General Manager of The Peer Support Foundation, Sydney, she introduced resilience and anti-bullying programmes. In 2002, Julie established ‘Leading and Learning' which achieved joint education, charity and business projects.

Since retirement she has embraced fiction writing. Nowt But Drippin' is her debut novel.
