Cullie Prosser-Jones

Cullie Prosser-Jones was born in 1936 in Hamilton, ‎New Zealand, and raised in Pukemiro, an outback ‎coal mining town, in the Waikato. Her working life ‎revolved around communication, including three ‎years' service in the Radio and Radar section of the ‎RNZAF. In 1957, three years of her life were spent ‎living at RAF Base Tengah in Singapore during the ‎Malaysian Confrontation. She won the ‘Senior New ‎Zealander of the Year Award' in 2012 for researching ‎and writing four volumes of the history of the ‎Waikato coal mines. She is a talented artist who has ‎been commissioned and exhibited.‎
