Alex and Lank's Ghost Flower Adventure

Tiare Aubryn Fenrich

Ten-year-old Alex is spending her summer in Nelson, British Columbia with her mom, as she does every year, but this summer is different. Alex comes face to face with an alien from the Seven Sisters galaxy. Lank, the name she gives her new friend, is eating ghost flowers, which Alex learns are the subject of a Cherokee legend.

So begins Alex's summer of adventure by the lake, but with new experiences, much to learn and bullies, how will it end?

ABOUT TIARE AUBRYN FENRICH

My name is Tiare Fenrich and I am a thirty-six-year-old who grew up on a farm in a small town called Wilkie in Saskatchewan, Canada. I have ancestry in Fiji, New Zealand, Ireland and Germany. I lived in New Zealand for eight years, getting my degree in occupational therapy and specializing in mental health. While I was there my brother passed away at the age of nineteen due to an accidental overdose. He suffered from schizophrenia and had a huge impact on my life. I have always had a passion for writing since I was a kid, writing twelve journals throughout my life as well as poetry. I am a self-proclaimed artist, love snowboarding, fishing, exploring, sports and my dog, Tobi. I got inspired to write this book when I found some ghost flowers in Nelson, BC. I hope you enjoy the adventure as much as I did.
