ABOUT EDWARD JACOB CHAPLIN


The author was born in the West Midlands. He left school at fourteen, without any exams; he worked at a West Midlands market selling all kinds of things from TVs to radios. After leaving this job, he worked in two day-centres, in different positions from a canteen assistant to a wood-worker. In 1986 he when to night classes at Bilston College, and five years later, he passed his English and IT exams. Up until 1990, the author worked as a caretaker at the same college.
