Michelle Blackbird writes under a pen name. She is ‎the author of the children's novel Wish You Were ‎Here, an homage to Anne Frank, which, when ‎reviewed, was highly recommended as a middle-‎grade study on war fiction. She received a Bachelor ‎of Arts from The University of South Australia and ‎a Bachelor of Education with Honours from Flinders ‎University.
