Lucia Calabrese has a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a
concentration in Education from Georgian Court College. She
volunteered at the Hispanic Association in Lakewood, NJ and at
nursing homes as part of her education requirements. She also
volunteered at the food pantries for local churches. Her twenty
years as a daycare teacher has inspired her to write books
for children. She speaks Italian, Spanish and French and has
attended high school in Italy, the land of her ancestors! She has
a passion for the welfare of animals and enjoys being a pet sitter
for family and friends.
