ABOUT WILLIAM P THOMSON

Now seventy-six, William P Thomson has been writing for some fifty-five years, his principal genre being horror. He has also written a book for older children (about a little dog called George); a medico faction book (presented as a written, eye-witness account on the first attempt at a living brain transplant); two (of what will be a trilogy) collections of horror stories, under the collective title of Insanitus; and, of course, Arrival itself (his most personal work).

As to being a writer, he makes two points: that you should enjoy writing; and that you should enjoy the idea. If not, do not a writer be. Don't forget the golden rule for all fiction writers: never be afraid to begin by asking a singular question - WHAT IF...?
