A Man of No Substance

Dena Scott

In the aftermath of the Second World War, life resumes and new dramas begin. It's 1945 and, Lenny, a handsome RAF pilot, starts to rebuild his life.

He marries his sweetheart, Olivia, and starts a new business, but it's not long before his notorious flirtatious ways resurface and he becomes involved with other acquaintances.

Setting up separate homes with his unsuspecting women, he juggles his time between them, each unaware of the other.

He manages to live his entangled life of deceit and lies with ease until the unexpected arrival of a child, which proves to be his undoing.

A Man of No Substance explores secrets, lies and family bonds and is set against the backdrop of the 1940s.
