The year is 2042. The average life expectancy is now 128. The segregation and warehousing of ‎seniors in Assisted Living and Memory care communities has not existed for over a decade. This ‎community model had phased out as it was recognized to be the exact antithesis of the way our ‎society was meant to function. The aging population was not dispensable. No more ageism. It ‎had been recognized and corrected. Everyone, at any age, continues to be involved with their ‎families and contributing to their communities. Add this phenomenon to accelerated advances ‎in medicine where most diseases have a cure: Cancer, HIV, Heart Disease, Diabetes, ‎Alzheimer's Disease. Even with these advances, there remained seventeen people with a ‎predisposition for Alzheimer's Disease and did not have the opportunity for the cure. That is ‎what this story is about.
