L'apéritif

Melanie Barrin

The Dalton, Munroe and Brandson families have always spent summer in Royan - a small holiday ‎destination in the south-west of France. The adults have been friends since university, supporting ‎each other through life's major milestones such as starting a career, getting married and raising their ‎children. However, despite the apparently strong bond between the three couples, there are harmful ‎secrets that, if revealed, could easily break away the mirage of their friendship.‎
Someone has been hideously deceptive for the past year, while others have long since buried ‎secrets that could potentially destroy their relationships. And in all of this, their children may be the ‎ones to suffer the most if the truth were to come to light.‎
This summer, when the families get together once again, the secrets come tumbling out one after ‎another. Will the six friends be able to salvage their friendship and protect their children?‎
