ABOUT GILES CHANCE


Giles Chance is the author of China and the Credit Crisis: the emergence of a new world order (2010) and Doing Business in China (Fifth Edition, 2022). Educated at Eton College, St Andrews University and Dartmouth College, New Hampshire, he served in the military, worked in the City of London as a banker, then with refugees in Somalia and Sudan, before becoming interested in China in the late 1980s. He has been an adjunct professor at Peking University and Dartmouth College.
