Mary Bryant

All her life Mary has been passionate about writing stories. At seventeen she was very proud to join the army, leaving behind her small town upbringing. Whilst raising her family, her working life was diverse from running an off licence to sheep farming in Wales before returning to the Midlands. On her return, Mary became an active member in a local theatre group having a variety of acting roles and being wardrobe mistress for fifteen years. Now an active member of the W I and a writers group where she has won prizes for her work.

    To the Shaw family, Odd Spot is a fluffy little guard dog, but, when Odd Spot sees himself in the hall mirror, he sees himself as Gold Dog Pirate in his gold shiny coat with a black patch over his left eye.
