Karen Miller

Karen Miller is a wife and mother of four children, a pre-school teacher, and Zumba instructor. She graduated from Pace University then studied design in New York City, before moving to Connecticut where she currently lives with her husband and golden retriever. She has an affinity for the color purple, anything "vintage-y", red wine, chocolate, rain, and "all things French". She is intrigued by history, especially the Civil War era and is convinced, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that she was a Spanish dancer in a previous life! (Even though the DNA ancestry tests have proved otherwise!) Purple Velvet Slippers is her first novel, and she is currently working on its sequel.
