Jeannie Clough-Payne

I was born in London. My mum, dad and my brother were always an inspiration to me. I had a very rich childhood in a family that enjoyed reading, art, making things and lots of imaginative play. I studied dance professionally and enjoyed going to a vocational boarding school when I was eleven. In my latter years, I went to university and achieved a teaching degree and a Master's in Education. My vocation is to inspire children to read and to open up a world of imagination, adventure and a love of books.
