My name is Gill Burnett. I live in the North East and up until quite recently I ran my own small taxi company exclusively for women.
It has only been in the past couple of years that I have started writing; I believe that running a taxi on my own not only gave me the food for thought to write, but also the time spent driving around on my own gave me the opportunity to put my stories into some sort of semblance. Now that I have actually started writing, I cannot stop and am surprised how many stories I have in my head, how many characters I have in my heart and how many books are still to be written when I have the time.
I have always loved reading, but it was not until two years ago that I found the courage to actually open my laptop and begin. I like the fact that I can make a character loveable or I can change the direction of the plot; creative licence, I think it is called. I hope Take Note is the first of many of my books you will read.
