Galawezh Bayiz

Galawezh Bayiz is a humanitarian, a social entrepreneur, and an environmental activist. She began writing at an early age. She grew up in the war-torn Iraq where she endured internal displacement and the Kurdish exodus. A well-travelled Australian, she spent most of her life in England where she completed her post graduate studies. Influenced by its culture and heritage, her experience in the UK shaped the writing framework of this story. She now lives in Erbil with her two children.
