Estelle Daly Ellis

I am the youngest of five sisters. Since I was a child, I've always had a vivid imagination and I entertained myself writing poetry, short novels, and even songs, as I do come from a very musical family. I guess writing, for me, was a quiet escape to lose myself in a fantasy world, especially from a household that was often hectic with four other siblings. I don't feel I had any special gift, but writing was literally like acting out a movie in my head and I could play all of the characters, which can be exhausting! I was born and raised in a small village in East Anglia. My mother and father both worked hard - neither would quit at any project no matter how difficult. My father would often say "There's no such word as ‘can't'," and my mother's favourite words were, "Be determined, if you want something in life badly enough, always follow your dreams."
