B.L. Matthews

B.L. Matthews is a Maryland poet who has embarked on the journey from her own comfortable boundaries and is now ready to share with the world her experiences. She battles the repercussions of abuse, anxiety, depression and self-doubt and wanted to let those who also live with the beast know that they are not alone. B.L. enjoys a peaceful life with her husband and three children, painting, writing and spending time with their four dogs. She volunteers her time fostering shelter dogs. If she's not with her family, her head is usually buried in a book. She loves to eat MD crabs and play rummy.
