Alana Mackay

Alana Mackay was born and raised on a farm in central Manitoba, Canada. Her parents instilled in her a love for music, and so when she was grown, she moved from Manitoba to obtain her music degree in Alberta.

It was there that she met her wonderful husband.
Alana's been married for over twenty-five years and has four grown children. She has devoted much of her life to raising them to be good, productive adults. Alana teaches private piano and singing lessons, and is actively involved in local music festivals and children's musical theater programs.

When she is not busy with her family and students, Alana can be found at her kitchen table pursuing her new found passion in writing. Nameless is her first book.
