John Skillen is a multifaceted Martial Artist and reality borne Self Protection expert. He holds black belts in several disciplines, including Kung Fu, Kickboxing and Judo. John is a fully qualified amateur boxing coach and a former national Judo champion. John spent over twenty years working as a nightclub bouncer and is a trained bodyguard. John is an international Self Defence instructor.

John weaves his writing around his family life and his own Martial Arts & Fitness Centre. This is John's first book.
